DataHost by DataLink Systems Inc. is a user friendly interface for
tracking your vehicles or creating reports on fleet activity.
The software over lays Microsoft MapPoint 2004 and provides
North American coverage. Easy to use and configure and at the
same time loaded with features and advanced configuration
options. This well engineered software has been in service for
years and has gone through several revisions to provide clients
with the features they require. We can provide you with a live
demonstration or if a trial is requested we can provide you with
limited time demonstration software which is installed in your
workstation as well as system access.
DataGate is the server software that DataHost connects to
from any internet connected workstation. Alta-Comm Wireless
provides this server service for a minimal monthly fee per
vehicle. Access is 24/7 and multiple workstation connections are
available. In cases where multiple branches within one
organization have mobiles to monitor, the system is configured
to show only those units of interest to each branch while the
central office or any other designate work station(s) can view
all vehicles. Any name, unit number, or label can be attached to
each vehicle for ease of use and easy identification.
